Black Foxes UK works to ensure silver fox welfare by collaborating with organisations and individuals who share our desire to create an informed community that promotes awareness of the issues faced by this complex species.
Become a Member Today!
Black Foxes UK is an unincorporated organisation and our operations occur through the donation of personal resources by our members in order to support our common cause.
We sincerely appreciate everyone who has supported our mission over the years. Your generosity has played a crucial role in assisting our efforts to document thousands of fox sightings and to promote the welfare of over 50 foxes. With your contributions, we have been able to facilitate the following milestones:
- Assisted in the rescue and rehoming of 30 foxes
- Supported the neutering of 12 foxes
- Provided resources for life-saving amputation surgery for 1 fox
- Aided in conducting 2 post-mortem examinations
- Issued formal written notices for 3 private fox keepers
- Collaborated with various organisations to identify silver foxes
- Shared valuable data and worked alongside several researchers
- Helped prevent 1 farmer from shooting an escaped pet fox
In April 2022, we played a pivotal role in the rescue of several Ukrainian foxes, working in close collaboration with our rescue friends in Hungary. These dedicated rescuers graciously agreed to take in the foxes from the border and to support their lifelong care. We facilitated communication during this challenging time and contributed a donation to support their efforts.
To continue pursuing our mission and expand the impact of Black Foxes UK, we need your support.
We are pleased to offer free membership, which is valid for one year. Open to individuals and organisations. Simply renew your membership annually to remain a valued part of our community for as long as you choose.
